Women in French UK-Ireland are delighted to share Claire Legendre’s Minutes d’arrêt, a five-act play that the author has kindly shared with us as part of the book project Women in Power, edited by Siobhán McIlvanney and Shirley Jordan. This play is discussed by Dawn Cornelio in her chapter ‘The Complexity of (Patriarchal) Power in Two Plays by Claire Legendre’. The edited volume can be viewed here, and the play is available below. Preceding this text is the preface to Women in Power, written by Chahdortt Djavann, the keynote speaker at the 2019 WiF UK-Ireland conference from which this volume proceeds.
