WiF UK-Ireland was born out of collaborations between scholars at various institutions in the UK and Ireland, and continues to promote such networking across both islands. Our members work closely with other sister organisations, such as Women in French North America and Women in French Australia. We have been the grateful recipients of past funding from established scholarly bodies in French Studies such as ASMCF and the Society for French Studies.
