WiF Archive

WiF UK-Ireland was formalised as an association in 2022, but has a long history of sustaining and supporting networks of female scholars working on women’s cultural production in the French-speaking world. Our archive includes documentation and photos relating to these activities from our origins in 1987 up to the present day.

WiF UK-Ireland gathers together in a formal association the individual WiF groups from England, Scotland and Ireland which previously operated as independent and informal organisations. Members of these groups have generously donated archival material which will be preserved on our website to honour the origins of WiF UK-Ireland and trace our journey to formalisation.
